I had no idea what kind of demographic made up the Mesh community. I still don not know, but I aim to find out. A few weeks ago somebody posted, "Free beer" at Dirty Birds in Cocoa on a Tuesday evening; and I met these fine folks. What a surprise, all in our 60s. I expected 20-30 year olds, mostly having tech jobs. Those who showed up were all hams. We had a great discussion about mesh hardware and our personal mesh experiences and where we thought it would go. We, as a community of meshers, need to do this kind of thing more often.
